From the beginning when YPM was created in 2006, being responsible community stewards was a high priority for YPM and its members. Since then, YPM members have donated hundreds of service hours, helped raise more than $15,000 for community charities and programs, and have been instrumental in bringing unique outreach events to the area. 

Over the past several years YPM has donated time or helped raise money for the following organizations: Helping Hands of Midland, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Christmas for our Troops, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Midland Community Theater, Museum of the Southwest, Hope House, Habitat for Humanity, Keep Midland Beautiful, the West Texas Food Bank and others.

In addition to volunteering and raising money YPM has also been instrumental in creating a "UTPB Young Associates Scholarship". Each fall all the young professional groups in the Permian Basin come together to raise money for deserving student at UTPB.
